Recording your music

If your computer has a soundcard connected then you should be able to use the computers' own sound recorder to save your music clips to your computer. Follow the instructions below:

1. Open the sound recorder

This can usually be found in your accessories folder - see image below:

2. Open the recording control window by going to EDIT > AUDIO PROPERTIES > Sound Recording VOLUME. Then go to OPTIONS > PROPERTIES > and select all the boxes under 'show the following volume controls'. Click OK and you should see a window similar to the image below. Select the stereo mix (in some recording controls this may be described as 'stereo out balance' or 'wave balance').

3. Return to the sound recorder. When you are ready to play your music press record on the sound recorder and then quickly switch back to the Burmese website and play your music. When you have completed your tune, return to the sound recorder, press stop and save your music to your chosen destination.

4. Different soundcards will have different recording controls and settings. You may need to experiment with your settings to get a recording and to get the best sound quality.

5. Once you have recorded and saved your sound clip you can reply it locally by directly clicking on the file.
