The objects in the World Cultures collection come from all over the globe. Ther South Asia e are outstanding objects on display in the galleries, from the Americas, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Pacific. Many of these can not be seen anywhere else in this country: the unique large barkcloth collected from Polynesia in the 18th century during Cook's second voyage is a good example.
