Walter Daw Choice Exhibition Opening

From The Walter Daw Choice Poster

On the 19th of January an 'official delegation' from Walter Daw First School visited the museum to formally open the exhibition chosen by children and teachers from the museum's collection of paintings and drawings. This was in anticipation of a private view held a week later for all children, teachers, parents and friends of the school.

The advance party consisted of Emily, Thomas, Rebecca, Jamie, Elena, Thomas' mum and last, but not least, Mrs. Sandra Gailans. Sandra is a teacher and art co-ordinator at the school and has worked very hard to help all of the tiny 'curators' to make their choice of works for the exhibition.

You can see more in the 'Exhibitions' section of this website. Look for 'The Walter Daw Choice'.
