East Devon College, Tiverton visit to the museum |

A group from East Devon
College, Tiverton, led by their tutor, Bea Kerek, spent a
whole day at the museum. This included a close look at works from
the fine art collection, meetings with several museum experts,
and a behind the scenes tour. The group met with Julia Simpson,
Museum Manager, for a chat about how the museum is run.They also
met with Len Pole and Alison Hopper-Bishop for informal discussions
on the role of curators and conservators at the museum. This was
with particular reference to the Uvol Dance Crests from New Britain. |

Crowley, Outreach Officer from the National Gallery, London, led
workshops on the Travelling
Companions Exhibition with a number of Exeter-based school
groups, including the Royal School for the Deaf, Ladysmith Middle
School and the West of England for Children With Little Or No
Sight. |
