exhibition focusing on the braid and bead work creations of Jacqui
Carey and items of adornment from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum's
collection.
An
exhibition of the stunning work of the late South Devon textile designer Susanne
Bosence. You can still see the exhibition, play around with textile
designs, draw inspiration - on-line!
Since
as early as the 9th century AD (CE) theatrical performances have been
accompanied by music. Even today puppet shows, dances and dramas are
accompanied by the traditional Burmese orchestra. In this site you can
watch
a puppet show, learn
how to make your own, and play virtual copies
of instruments online, including a Xylophone,
Gong
Chimes and various Percussion
instruments.

celebrates the rich and diverse culture of the Yoruba. It brings together

This exhibition is mainly about what Africans do with the metals they make for themselves. Concentrating on the two commonest metals iron & copper.
 This website is the partner to the exhibition held at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter, which was inspired by tradecloth, European-made woollen cloth traded globally, used on objects in the Museum’s World Cultures collection.

the Amazon Basin, highlights the Royal Albert Memorial Museum's

'Second Skin' exhibition, the main purpose of which is to demonstrate
the many uses of bark and to show the amazing
range of barkcloth designs which have been produced in the last 250 years by artists
both known and unknown.
