Emmanuel Jegede

Emmanuel Taiwo Jegede is a painter, printmaker, sculptor in wood, bronze and ceramic and a poet and storyteller. Born in Ayegbaju Ekiti, Nigeria in 1943, his work bears the marks of his Yoruba Ekiti background yet is marked by his own "creative ebullience and distinctive presence"
